Get Involved! Young People's Co Production in West Berkshire

We are delighted to say that since January this year, young people with additional needs/disabilities age 16-25 in West Berkshire have been involved with the following:

  • Interviewed and designed the Young People Worker profile
  • Approved the look and feel of the Young People Worker business card
  • Created content for 8 pages of the Young People SENDIASS web pages
  • Written and designed the Young People leaflet
  • Scripted, edited and produced a video Promoting the Youth Forum

This is a wonderful achievement, and we are all grateful for the invaluable input young people have had so far.

It isn't too late to get involved! We are working hard to establish a Young People's Forum in West Berkshire, providing a platform that enables Young People to have their say and share their views. To find out more about getting involved, click here.

Young People's Web Pages

Groups of young people with special needs and disabilities in West Berkshire are working together to co - produce young people's web pages for the West Berks SENDIASS website.

The Young People's Information, Advice & Support Officer is coordinating this exciting project.

Everyone involved so far is committed to co-production. This is a way of working, whereby everyone works together on an equal basis. At the moment we are working together to agree the 'look and feel' of the web pages and to find out what sort of information young people think should be on there.
